From Glasgow head north on the A82 via Loch Lomond. Take the left turn at Tarbet on to the A83 and follow it through wonderful scenery, over the "Rest and be Thankful" through Arrochar, Inverary, and Lochgilphead. Turn right on to the Oban road, the A816, then following directions for Tayvallich, take the left fork on to the B841 at the Cairnbaan Hotel. Over the canal bridge and follow the Crinan Canal then turn left on to the B8025 signed to Tayvallich. |
From the north, take the A816 south from Oban. Approximately 2 miles past Kilmartin take the B8025, signed to Tayvallich, off to the right and follow this to the Crinan Canal bridge at Bellanoch. Turn right on to the B841 for three quarters of a mile, then left on to the B8025. |
