Leac Na Ban ('place of the white rock') offers you the quiet and solitude of a converted 18th century croft house set high in the hills of Argyll, 8 miles from Lochgilphead.
On our 70-acre farm, you can meet our small herd of Highland cattle, our Herdwick sheep and an assortment of dogs, tabby cats, hens, ducks and geese.
Here you will find a microcosm of the west of Scotland; from our 'mountain' Bar Mor (140m) with its panoramic views across the Moine Mhor and Dunadd (the 'cradle of Scotland') - to our quaking bog and its wealth of wildlife; from our wild-flower studded hay field and the surrounding forest, to our burns and rocky outcrops.Leac Na Ban is a convenient base from which to explore Argyll and its scenic coastline, to discover the pre-historic monuments of the Kilmartin Valley, and to enjoy the many outdoor activities on offer.
